About the Books

Even Scary Things Get the Blue by David Buckner (published October 2018)

Do zombies like to try new foods? Do goblins have to brush their teeth? Would a robot ever come to your pool party? This clever collection of poems exploring the challenges creepy creatures face, that as it turns out, are not so different than the challenges kids face every day.

What Do the Stars See?  by Molly Smith (published November 2021)

This is a story of three stars–Astro, Starsky, and Cosmo–good friends who come together in the sky to enjoy the magic of each of the seasons on Earth. The stars mindfully watch their most favorite sights on Earth, whimsically illustrated by the author herself. This book is a reminder that we can find joy in the simple things in life, and that at the end of the day, we are all in this together.

What Do the Stars See? On the Farm  by Molly Smith (published August 2022)

Astro, Starsky, and Cosmo are back, and they've made a new friend–the moon!

They invite the moon to join their group when they find her alone in the sky. Together, they visit their mutual friends who live on a farm down on Earth. This story not only endorses kindness, but also unity; though the stars, moon, and creatures on earth live so far away from one another, yet they are brought together by the night.
