Join Inkfish Books and Barrington Public Library for our first virtual author event with Rhode Island’s own cookbook celebrity couple—Ann Hood and Michael Ruhlman. They’ll invite us into their kitchen to share how they are cooking and coping during this #StayAtHome time of coronavirus, and Michael may even share a cocktail recipe with us.

Ann Hood is the author of nine books including her latest memoir Kitchen Yarns, the best-selling memoir Comfort: A Journey Through Grief and best-selling novels The Book That Matters Most and The Knitting Circle. She lives in Providence, RI.

Michael Ruhlman is the author of many critically acclaimed books including Grocery, The Soul of a Chef, The Elements of Cooking, Ratio, and Ruhlman’s Twenty. He has collaborated on several bestselling cookbooks, including The French Laundry Cookbook, Bouchon, and Alinea. His new podcast From Scratch with Michael Ruhlman from iHeartRadio, draws from his experience and personal relationships with the country’s best chefs. He divides his time between Providence, Rhode Island, and New York City.
